Working with us means forming a relationship with TRUST as a key pillar. Based on years of experience and backed up by science this approach guarantees happier, better outcomes and it’s something we invest into to let it form a structure that is then the solid foundation for creative play.
This is also what we apply when it comes to trailers for music, artists, books etc.
We started covering Deutsche Welle, Universal and other music film productions in 2013.
Sting, Rufus Wainwright, Avi Avital, Ksenija Sidorowa, Gidon Kremer, Kremarata Baltica, ONAIR Vocalband. As well as filming book trailers for clients like Suhrkamp.

Suhrkamp-Jennifer Clement

Concept, camera, and editing: Perola Filmes
Sound design: Volker Wendisch

„Gun Love“ reads like a trip. Jennifer Clement writes about the bond between mother and daughter and the gun culture of her homeland, telling a story in vivid images in which love and violence, magic and fact, worry and joy collide without restraint. It is a literary portrait of the mood of an entire nation.
We visually translated the poetically elevated language with lens whacking and cross-fades; and since we couldn't travel to California for the trailer, we shot timeless images.

Deutsche Grammophon-Gidon Kremer
Gidon Kremer talks about his album “Preghiera.” “If you love music, Rachmaninov is for you.”
There is so much love in Gidon Kremer's words, which we wanted to convey in our trailer in a calm and unemotional way. Between the interview segments, we play with melancholic images that nestle up to the music, sad and hopeful at the same time. “It is so powerful that you can't run away from it.” We counter this power with very calm images of frozen lakes and swans gliding glisteningly across the screen.

“Das Gift” (The Poison), Samanta Schweblin
A curse that seems to hang over a place in nowhere. A healer who tries to save children threatened by death. And two excessively loving mothers whose fates are mysteriously linked. „Das Gift" is like a nightmare that unfolds insidiously. A mesmerizing story. Gripping, fantastic literature.
For this trailer, we worked closely with the author Samanta Schweblin and also produced the voice-overs. Particularly impressive here is how the “boy” talks about death. Since we couldn't travel to Argentina for the trailer, we filmed in Brandenburg.

“Children are dangerous?! Too much? Too colorful? Too loud? Anyone who works in a children's village family must enjoy life to the fullest, otherwise they are in the wrong place.
Does this commercial appeal to you?
Then you might be just the right fit!
This commercial was filmed in an authentic children's village family.
Background: Our commercial is intended to be a recruitment appeal for personnel. And we didn't just want an authentic setting, we also played up the idea that children are “dangerous,” i.e., ‘wild’ and “unpredictable,” but beneath this wildness lies joy and enthusiasm. Humor is one of the most important qualities for professionals working in a children's village family, so we used it to appeal specifically to this audience.
